Traffic ScotlandA lorry needing a tyre changed closed a lane on the M74 on Monday morning.
Traffic Scotland confirmed part of junction two of the major road was closed heading north after 8.40am due to an HGV on the hard shoulder.
Images from the scene showed the large white lorry on the carriageway with emergency services on the scene.
Drivers were told to expect delays with traffic building in the area before the disruption ended after 9.15am.
