All traffic is being held northbound after the fire at Junction 1 just after 9am.

A lorry fire on the M80 is causing jams on Wednesday morning as northbound traffic is forced to a halt.

Traffic Scotland confirmed the blaze at Junction 1 around 9.10am close to Dennistoun, with traffic tailing back onto the M8.

All traffic is being held northbound as emergency services attend the scene.

In an update at 9.20am, it was confirmed that no traffic can currently access the M80 from the M8 at J13.

It is not known if anyone is injured.
