Lewis Capaldi has received a one-of-a-kind “Made in Scotland from Girders” guitar pick ahead of his two sold-out Glasgow arena gigs.

The Scottish singer-songwriter is returning to OVO Hydro on Saturday and Sunday following a two-year hiatus to focus on his health.

The 28-year-old, who has Tourette’s Syndrome, released his first album in 2019 and a second album in 2023.

He decided to take a break following a performance at Glastonbury Festival in 2023, where he struggled to manage his Tourette syndrome symptoms.

Lewis returned to the festival with a secret set earlier this year.

Ahead of his return to the Glasgow stage, he was celebrated by Irn-Bru for embodying the spirit of being made from girders.

Kenny Nicholson, brand director at IRN-BRU said: “Lewis Capaldi truly epitomises what it means to be Made in Scotland from Girders.

“It’s fantastic to see him back in action, in front of a home crowd, and this plectrum has been created to mark his momentous occasion.

“We wish you the best!”
