A Lanarkshire family has been left “worried” following the disappearance of a man on Friday.

Kieran Preston, from Kilsyth, was last seen on Cronulla Place at around 9.30pm.

The 29-year-old is described as around 5ft 10 inches in height, with a slim build and with short blonde/brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing black trousers and a black zipper jacket.

Officers are checking any relevant CCTV footage from in and around the area he was last seen.

Inspector Barry Henderson said: “Kieran’s family is worried and want to know he is safe and well. I would appeal to anyone who may have seen Kieran or who has any information as to where he could be to contact us.”

Those with information are urged to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3361 of Friday.
