Kendrick Lamar and SZA announce Scottish tour date after Super Bowl performance

Kendrick Lamar and SZA are bringing their Grand National Tour to Scotland.

Kendrick Lamar and SZA have announced a Scottish tour date as part of their upcoming world tour.

The rapper and his frequent collaborator have added new dates to their Grand National Tour, fresh off their performance at the Super Bowl half-time show on Sunday.

The tour will take over 13 stadiums across Europe and the UK this summer including Hampden Park on July 8 as their first stop.

They will then go on to Birmingham, Cardiff and London.

Tickets for the show go on pre-sale on February 12 before general sale starts on at 9am February 14.

The announcement comes after Kendrick and SZA played as the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs headed to their respective locker rooms in New Orleans.

Samuel L Jackson opened for the rap star, the actor portraying Uncle Sam.

After an intro by ‘Uncle Sam’, Lamar launched into Squabble Up! followed by his three-time Grammy-winning hit Humble, which featured a group of dancers in red, white and blue, forming an American flag.

He went on to perform Toxic Love with SZA and DNA from his album DAMN.

After teasing it at the beginning of his set, Lamar then dove on into his Drake diss track Not Like Us.
