Investigations are ongoing into an attempted murder after a man was found injured in Greenock.
Officers received reports of a 21-year-old man with serious injuries on West Blackhall Street around 12.10am on September, 28.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital.
Two weeks after the incident police said investigations into the incident are “ongoing” and urged anyone with information to come forward.
Detective inspector Nicky Beattie said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would reassure the local community that extensive efforts are ongoing to identify whoever is responsible.
“I would urge anyone who may have information which has not yet been passed to police to get in touch as soon as you can.
