The death of a woman at a property in South Lanarkshire is being treated as “unexplained” by police.
Officers were called to Newfield Place, Rutherglen, at around 12.45am on Friday.
The body of a woman was discovered inside a property.
The death is being treated as unexplained and enquires are ongoing, detectives said.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.45am on Friday, December 22, 2023, the body of a woman was discovered in a property in Newfield Place, Rutherglen.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
