A probe has been launched after a woman was attacked on a road in Glasgow during the early hours of Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to Smithycroft Road in the Riddrie area of the city at around 12.20am following the assault of a 39-year-old woman.
She received treatment at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.20am on Monday, August 11, 2025, we were called to a report of a 39-year-old woman assaulted in Smithycroft Road, Glasgow.
“She attended Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
