Investigation launched after quantity of jewellery stolen during Irvine housebreaking

An investigation has been launched after a quantity of jewellery was stolen from a home in Irvine on Thursday.

The housebreaking occurred between 12.30pm and 1pm on Lamberton Gardens in Irvine.

The suspected thieves fled from the scene in a black BMW X4.

Detective Constable Connor Stewart said: “Our investigation is continuing into this housebreaking to establish more details and I urge anyone with information to come forward.

“If you saw the black BMW X4 in Lamberton Gardens, or in the local area around the time of the break-in or if you have dash-cam footage which may assist, please contact us.
