An investigation has been launched after a police car was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were alerted to the collision on Paisley’s Canal Street at around 6.50pm on Thursday evening.
The occupants of both vehicles were assessed by medical crews, however, they did not suffer any serious injuries.
An investigation is now being carried out to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.50pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025, officers were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a marked police car on Canal Street, Paisley, at the junction with Causeyside Street.
“Emergency services attended, and the occupants of both vehicles were assessed by the Scottish Ambulance Service. There were no reports of any serious injuries.
“Enquiries to establish the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.”
