An investigation is under way after a man was attacked with a bottle on board a train.

The incident occurred at around 3.30pm on March 16 on a service between Coatdyke and Easterhouse.

Two passengers got into a fight with one of the men striking the other with a bottle. This caused a deep cut above the eye and bleeding.

British Transport Police is urging witnesses with information to contact them by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 398 of March 16.
