Police are investigating after a man was found seriously injured in Cumbernauld.
Officers received reports of concern for a man on Glenacre Road at around 8am on Saturday.
Emergency services arrived and he was taken to hospital.
His condition is described as stable.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8am on Saturday, September 16 police were called to a report of concern for an injured man in the Glenacre Road area of Cumbernauld.
“He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and his condition is described as stable.
“Enquiries to establish the full circumstances remain ongoing.”
