Police are appealing for information into a fatal New Year’s Eve crash in Glasgow.
A 66-year-old woman died in hospital after she was involved in the collision that took place in the city’s Mansionhouse Drive near the junction with Croftspar Place at around 4.10pm on Hogmanay.
She was driving a black Mercedes A class when the incident took place on Wednesday.
Emergency services and she was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment, but died the following day.
Officers investigating the incident have now issued a public appeal for information about the collision as they look to establish the full circumstances.
Sergeant Adnan Alam of the Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the woman who has died.
“Our inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this crash, and I would ask anyone who may have witnessed this, and who has not yet spoken to police, to come forward.
“Similarly, any drivers in the area at the time with dashcam footage should get in touch with us as they may be able to assist our inquiries.”
