Police are appealing for information in the search for a missing Glasgow man who was last seen near a hospital.

Barry McCullagh, from Castlemilk, was last seen on Corsebar Road in Paisley, near the Royal Alexandra Hospital, at around 5.20pm on October 5.

The 40-year-old is described as white, 5 ft 9in tall, of medium build and has short black hair.

He was wearing black-and-navy jogging bottoms, a black soft shell jacket, and grey-and-white trainers.

Sergeant Paul Connelly, Paisley Police Station, said: “Both police and Barry’s family are concerned for his welfare as he has not been in touch with anyone since yesterday.

“I would appeal to anyone with any information about where he is to get in touch with police via 101. Please quote reference number 3910 of Wednesday, October 5, when calling.

“We’d also appeal to Barry himself to get in touch to let us know he is safe and well.”
