An image of a pedestrian killed in a Paisley car crash has been issued by police.
Jim Paterson lost his life in the collision, which occurred on Sunday, November 27 around 12.20am.
The 63-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene on Bredilands Road.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward to help with their investigations.
The road was shut and reopened at 5.30pm on Monday.
Police previously said the 26-year-old male driver of the car has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
In a statement, Mr Paterson’s family said: “Our entire family is broken following the tragic death of our beloved Jim.
“Please, if anyone has any information or knows anything which could help the police, come forward.”
Sergeant Kenny Malaney said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of Jim.
“Our enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and we would appeal to anyone who has any information to come forward and speak to police.
“I would also ask if there are any motorists who have possible dashcam footage of the area around the time of the incident to get in touch with officers.
“Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting incident number 0074 of Sunday, November, 27.”
