iStockA manhunt has been launched for two masked suspects travelling on an e-bike after a car was deliberately set on fire in Hamilton.
Emergency services were called to reports of a blaze on Blantyre’s Reid Street around 3.40am on Thursday.
The fire was extinguished and there were no reported injuries.
Detective Constable Meechan said: “From enquiries carried out so far, we have identified two suspects on an e-bike.
“The first suspect is described as a white male, around 5ft 8in and of slim build.
“He was wearing a dark top, a grey gilet, dark bottoms and a dark face covering.
“The second suspect is described as a white male, around 5ft foot 7in.
“He was wearing a black hooded top, black joggers and a dark face covering.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time and who may have dash cam or private CCTV that could assist to get in touch.”
