Hunt for three men six months on from attack on Glassford Street in Glasgow on January 5 Police Scotland

Police are searching for three men in connection with an assault in Glasgow city centre six months ago.

The incident took place on the city’s Glassford Street around 10am on January 5 this year.

Images of the three men have been released to the public and anyone who recognises them is urged to contact police.

The first male is described as white, around 18-22 years old, with a slim build and dark hair. He was wearing a black skip cap, grey jogging bottoms, a black jacket and black and blue trainers.

The second male is described as white, around 18-22 years old, with a slim to medium build and dark hair. He was wearing a black jacket, black bottoms and orange Nike trainers.

The third male is described as white, around 18-22 years old, slim to medium build with dark hair. He was wearing a green tracksuit with a blue top underneath and black trainers.

Detective constable Larissa Cooper said “I would urge the males pictured or anyone who may recognise them or has information about this incident to contact us as soon as possible.

“Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3689 of January 5, 2024. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.”
