A hunt has been launched to trace a teen after a man was taken to hospital following an attack in West Dunbartonshire.
Officers were alerted to the incident which happened in Renton near Tontine Park on Monday around 8pm.
A 28-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment following the serious assault.
Police are now looking to trace an 18-year-old male, who was wearing a grey style puffer jacket.
The force is urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
Detective constable Aislinn MacLeod said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any information which could assist to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at that time to come forward,
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 3552 of August 5, 2024.”
