A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a spate of bogus workmen incidents in West Dunbartonshire.
The 24-year-old is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday.
Police said they are still trying to identify two other men in connection with the reported incidents in the Freelands Crescent area of Old Kilpatrick between Monday, August 3 and Thursday, August 6.
Both suspects were wearing white face masks, grey t-shirts, beige shoes and black cargo trousers with grey patches.
One was wearing a black zipped hoodie, whilst the other was dressed in a dark-blue gilet.
Detective constable Imran Abuzar, of Clydebank CID, said: “Elderly and vulnerable people are usually targeted in these types of incident.
“I would urge all members of the public to remain vigilant and only get work done from approved or trusted tradesmen and challenge anyone who does not have the necessary credentials.”
