A hunt has been launched for a man after a car was deliberately set on fire in Glasgow.
Officers were alerted to the incident, involving a grey Hyundai Tuscon, in the Lamont Road area of the city at around 8.15pm on Sunday.
The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no one was injured.
Police Scotland said enquiries established that a man dressed in all black clothing was seen running away from the area shortly after the incident.
The force is urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
Detective Constable Ryan Carson said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information which could assist to contact us.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who has private CCTV or dash-cam footage to get in touch.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 2828 of February 16, 2025. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
