A hunt has been launched to trace a “hooded” man after a robbery at a petrol station in Rutherglen.
Officers were alerted to the incident that happened on Stonelaw Road around 7.05am on Saturday.
Police described the suspect as in his early 20s, around 5’9 tall and of slim build.
The man was reportedly wearing a blue hooded jacket, black jogging bottoms, black trainers and a black scarf.
Police confirmed that no one was injured in the incident but a number of items were stolen.
The force is urging anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Constable Ashley Hind said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact us.
“We also ask anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage to come forward.”
