A hooded group of four men have stolen cash and jewellery from two properties in Ayr.
Officers are appealing for information about the robberies, which took place at addresses in Fenwickland Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
The suspects are described as wearing dark-coloured clothing, with their hoods up and their faces covered.
They left the area with a two-figure sum of cash and jewellery.
Detective constable Stuart McCulloch, from Ayr Police Station said: “We’re appealing to anyone who was in the Fenwickland Avenue area around 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon who witnessed anything suspicious to please come forward.
“If you have any information on this robbery, contact 101, quoting incident 1842 of 19 March. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
