Police are searching for a driver after a cyclist was struck by an “unknown vehicle” on a slip road in Renfrewshire.
Officers were alerted to the crash on the slip road for the A737 heading toward Johnstone at around 5:30pm on Wednesday.
Police said the collision involved a cyclist wearing high-visibility clothing, who was struck by an unknown vehicle.
The force is appealing for witnesses and urging anyone with information to come forward.
A post on X, formerly known as Twitter, read: “Officers are appealing for witnesses or dash cam footage following a collision whereby a cyclist in high visibility clothing was struck by an unknown vehicle on the slip road for the A737 leading towards Johnstone, at 5.30pm on Wednesday. Incident 2546 of 22/01/2025 refers.”
