Highland cows have escaped from their enclosure in a Glasgow park.
The animals live within Pollok Country Park and were spotted having a look around near the Burrell Collection on Thursday morning.
How the cattle managed to get out of their pasture is unknown but they were eventually herded back to safety.
A council spokeswoman said: “Several of our Highland cows went for a wander around the Park this morning after managing to leave the confines of their field.
“The cows didn’t stray far and are now back in their pasture, with no ill-effects or damage caused.”
