Thousands of pounds of herbal cannabis has been recovered from a car stopped by police on a motorway.
On Wednesday, officers stopped the vehicle on the M74 near junction 16 at Johnstonebridge, Dumfries and Galloway around 3.30pm.
Police discovered herbal cannabis worth around £130,000 inside the car.
A 52-year-old woman and two men, aged 38 and 18, were arrested in connection with this incident.
Detective Inspector Dean Little from Dumfries CID said: “This is a significant amount of illegal drugs that have been removed from circulation and can no longer cause harm.
