A vegan market featuring more than 100 stalls will take place at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Saturday.

The event, which runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm, features world food caterers, vegan food and drink, cosmetics, local producers, clothing and gifts.

Entry is £4 for adults and free for children under the age of 16.

Among the featured stalls is Temple de Luna, a small-batch skincare company based in Glasgow, whose skincare range is handmade and 100% natural, vegan and cruelty-free.

Other Glasgow stall-holders include Mama’s Wee Bakery, vegetarian kitchen Mayze, clothing and bags manufacturer Humane Human and Red Deer Apparel, which offers sustainable and ethical clothing.

Another of the market’s featured stalls is Hamilton’s Hope CBD, Scotland’s largest cannabis centric company, selling vegan-friendly CBD products.

Other local stall-holders include Anderson Aromatics from Bothwell and Dumbarton’s Ion Body Armour, which sells wristbands, bracelets and watches.

Vegan Events UK was founded in 2017 with the joint aim of promoting veganism and helping to fund the vegan-led animal welfare charity, Miracle’s Mission.

It is trying to set up a dedicated disabled animal rehabilitation centre to help the most vulnerable animals in need.
