A gunman launched an angry outburst at jurors who convicted him of trying to kill a young woman.
Moses Kashita shot Felicia Samuel in a street in Glasgow’s Charing Cross on December 2, 2020.
Prosecutors said the 24-year-old used a pistol or converted replica pistol.
The attempted murder charge said he struck Ms Samuel on the body to her severe injury, permanent disfigurement and to the danger of her life.
Kashita was found guilty following a trial at the High Court in Glasgow on Friday.
As he was being taken handcuffed to the cells after the verdict, he hurled a foul-mouthed tirade at the jury.
Kashita shouted: “I promise, you have ruined my life. F*** you, f*** you, f*** all of you. I hope you die.”
After Kashita left the courtroom, judge Lord Young said it was of “regret” what jurors had just heard.
Kashita was also guilty on Friday of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The indictment stated this included him trying to get the victim not to identify him as being responsible.
This resulted in a previous trial being abandoned before this latest case went ahead.
Lord Young deferred sentencing until July 4 in Livingston.
