A group of Guide Dog puppies have visited a Sealife centre as part of a unique training programme.
While it appeared the group of budding assistance dogs were enjoying a day out, the sights, sounds and smells of the aquarium in Loch Lomond were utilised to test them as they continued their training.
Once fully trained, the dogs must be able to ignore distractions to carry out their duties.

Guide Dogs puppy development officer Erin McArthur said the varying lighting and noise at the Sealife centre helps the pups during their training.
She told STV News: “We do so much work with our dogs to ignore the amount of stimulus in the environment so that they can do their job.
“They cant be distracted by people and dogs and cats, pigeons. They have to just keep walking with their Guide Dog owners.”
