A group of walkers had to be rescued after becoming disorientated in a forest in Loch Lomond.

Lomond Mountain Rescue teams were dispatched to Achray Forest around 5.42pm on Sunday to assist the group.

One person was found to have fallen and suffered a rib injury.

Officers from Forth Valley police were able to find the group and help them walk to waiting vehicles.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
