An investigation has been launched after a group of motorbike riders were struck by a car in Bishopton on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to Greenock Road after reports of a collision involving a grey Nissan Duke and a group of motorcyclists at around 1.30pm.

The car left the scene after the incident.

No serious injuries were reported.

Detective Sergeant Kenny McLachlan said: “Luckily no one was seriously injured during this incident, and our enquiries are ongoing to trace those involved.

“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the vehicle prior to get in contact with officers.

“I’d also ask that those driving in the area at the time with a dash-cam review the footage to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
