Great Western Road closed after crash as drivers warned

Great Western Road in Glasgow is currently closed after a crash.

Emergency services closed the busy road westbound from Shelley Road to Whittinghame Drive on Monday evening.

Drivers have been urged to find alternative routes.

It is unknown if anyone has been injured as a result of the crash.

An update from Glasgow City Council read: “Due to an ongoing RTC, Great Western Road is currently closed westbound from Shelley Road to Whittinghame Drive.

“Emergency Services are in location.

“Drivers are advised to seek an alternative route.”
