An outdoor swimming pool in Inverclyde has made a splash with pet pooches, as it was transformed into a dog-friendly space for the end of the season.
Gourock outdoor pool welcomed four-legged friends and their owners into the water on Tuesday.
The event traditionally closes the outdoor swimming season and takes place after the final session for humans.
The facility is then cleaned before it closes up for winter.
Around 200 dogs dived in at the deep end with their owners, with 40 pooches taking part in each session of the Doggy Dip.
STV NewsThe event was introduced in 2019 and has since exploded in popularity, with extra sessions added to keep up with demand.
Lifeguards were on hand to keep an eye on both the humans and the pooches as they enjoyed a final day out at the pool.
