Two-vehicle crash closes Clydeside Expressway one way

Drivers have been urged to approach the road with caution.

A busy Glasgow road has been partially closed following a two-vehicle crash in the area.

Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of a two-vehicle collision at 8am on Friday.

The A814 Clydeside Expressway westbound has now been reduced to one offside lane.

The road links Glasgow with Clydebank, Dumbarton and Helensburgh.

Glasgow City Council has urged drivers to approach the area with caution.

Delays are expected as the vehicles are recovered.

A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “Around 8am on Friday officers received reports of a two-vehicle crash on the A814 Clydeside Expressway.

“Emergency services are in attendance.”
