The Glasgow Vegan Festival has celebrated its seventh birthday.
The annual event was held in the city’s Pollok Park on Saturday with over 70 stalls offering a selection of cooked foods, cakes, beauty and skincare products, candles, cheeses, jewellery, crafts and charity merchandise.
It also had cookery demos, interactive workshops, yoga, children’s activities and speakers.
Starting at 10.30am it is open until 4.30pm with hundreds of people in attendance throughout the day.
Festival Organiser Victoria Bryceson, founder of Vegan Events UK and animal welfare and education charity Miracle’s Mission, is passionate about advocating a cruelty-free lifestyle and helping animals in need around the world.
Speaking ahead of the event she said: “Our goal is to continue to bring vegans and non-vegans together, to support local vegan business, and to show just how easy it is to be vegan.”
