One line of Glasgow’s underground railway has been suspended on what is expected to be a busy day for travel on Saturday.
SPT announced the Outer Circle was not in operation at around 9.40am due to a broken down train on the tracks.
The subway’s Inner Circle is operating as normal while personnel work to remove the train from the system.
The Outer Circle runs clockwise and is a popular route for football fans travelling to Ibrox for games.
Rangers are set to play St Johnstone on Saturday afternoon with kick-off at 3pm.
A spokesperson for SPT said: “Apologies all, Outer Circle is temporarily suspended while we remove broken down train from system.
“Inner Circle is running as normal. Will update when Outer service resumes. Apologies for the inconvenience.”
