A man has been taken to hospital after becoming trapped between a platform and a train carriage at a Glasgow subway station.
Outer circle services were suspended and Cowcaddens Station was closed down following the incident at around 12pm.
SFRS confirmed it had attended the scene, and helped free the man.
Ambulance crews transported him to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where his condition remains unknown.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 12.15pm today (June 27) to attend an incident at Cowcaddens Station.
“We dispatched one ambulance, our trauma team and our special operations team (SORT) to the scene. We transported one male patient to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.”
A spokesperson for SPT said: “Subway Outer Circle is currently suspended while emergency services deal with a passenger incident at Cowcaddens station.
“The station is closed to passengers and no trains are stopping at the station.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and will update when services resume.”
