Police have cordoned off a street in Glasgow as part of a forensics operation.
Officers could be seen on Mansionhouse Road in the Shawlands area of the city with several police vehicles parked nearby.
The residential road, which is lined with sandstone tenements, was closed off to oncoming traffic, with vehicles diverted around the scene.
Police Scotland refused to say what the investigation related to, but insisted there was “no risk to the public”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are carrying out inquiries are part of an ongoing investigation.
“There is no risk to the public.”
