A street in Glasgow’s city centre has been closed due to wind blowing debris from a building.
Police have closed North Hanover Street in both directions between George Square North and Cathedral Street.
It’s understood that contractors have been called out to carry out repair work on the building affected.
A police diversion has been put in place.
Glasgow City Council confirmed that an update would be issued with the street has reopened.
The incident comes as the country continues to feel the effects of Storm Kathleen.
The Met Office warned of potential damage to buildings, power cuts, poor mobile phone coverage and danger to life because of large waves and debris from beaches being thrown on to seafronts.
