Glasgow residents have been urged to close doors and windows as fire crews battle a derelict building blaze.
Emergency services at the scene of an ongoing fire which took hold of a building on St Andrews Road.
Those living nearby have been told to shut their windows and doors due to the level of smoke in the area.
Drivers and pedestrians have also been told to avoid the area.
It is not known whether anyone has been injured during the incident.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Residents on and around St Andrews Road in Glasgow are being advised to keep windows and doors shut due to smoke from a nearby building fire.
“Drivers and pedestrians are also advised to avoid the area.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “There is an ongoing incident in St Andrews Road, Glasgow, G41 where a derelict building is on fire.
“Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Police Scotland are in attendance. It is requested that local residents keep their windows and doors closed at this time.”
