A busy street in Glasgow has been closed after emergency services were called to the activation of a carbon monoxide alarm.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent two fire trucks to Queen Street after 11.50am on Monday with crews still at the scene.
There are not believed to be any casualties.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 11.50am on Monday, September 16 to reports of a carbon monoxide alarm activation in Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the city’s Queen Street, where firefighters remain working to ensure the area is safe.
“There are no reported casualties.”
