Officers have asked for help from the public in tracing the man following an incident in August.

Police have released images of a man sought in connection with a probe into a robbery in Glasgow city centre.

Officers say they are keen to trace the man in relation to the attack shortly after 9.40pm on Renfield Street on August 18.

Investigators probed the incident at the time but have now launched a second appeal for additional information from the public.

The man is described as being of Asian appearance with a slim build and short black hair.

He was said to be wearing a black puffer style jacket, dark grey cargo shorts and white trainers.

Constable Natalie Davner, of the community investigation unit, said: “I would ask the man, or anyone who has information relating to the man depicted in the image, to make contact with the police.

“Members of the public can contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0514 of August 18, 2022.

“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
