A man has appeared in court in connection with an ongoing investigation into the death of a man whose remains were found on the shore of Loch Lomond.
Remains were discovered on Rubha Dubh, near Firkin Point, on September 13.
They were later identified as belonging to Graham Wright, who was reported missing from Glasgow on August 25. The 38-year-old was last seen around noon on August 20 in the Gorbals area.
On Tuesday, police arrested a 53-year-old man in connection with the case.
John Roarty appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Roarty, from Glasgow, made no plea and was remanded in custody. He will appear before the court again within the next eight days,
Mr Wright’s death continues to be treated as unexplained.
