An inflatable park event has been cancelled just days before it was set to open in Glasgow leaving families “gutted”.
Organisers behind Inflatable Fun City were set to bring what they said would be “Europe’s Biggest Inflatable” to Victoria Park over the Easter weekend.
However, after a run of wet conditions, the organisers have been forced to cancel the event due to the ground being “too boggy”.
The popular experience usually takes up residence in the park over the summer but the organisers had hoped to set up earlier this year.
In a statement confirming the cancellation after four months of planning, organisers said: “To say we are disappointed is an understatement”.
Many parents took to the comments to share their disappointment with one customer writing: “The boys will be gutted”.
Another wrote: “Gutted for you, hope the sun comes through for summertime”.
Although the Easter plans for the inflatable have been squashed the organisers said they hope to return to the park during summer.
