A Glasgow property is being searched in connection with an ongoing investigation into the death of a man whose remains were found near Loch Lomond.

Officers have sealed off a block of flats at the Ardencraig Quadrant in the Castlemilk area, just five minutes away from the Jenniburn Centre and Ardenglen community hub where searches were also carried out.

STV News understands the police searches are linked to the death of Graham Wright.

The 38-year-old’s remains were found at Rubha Dubh, near Firkin Point, on September 13.

The 38-year-old’s remains were found on the banks of Loch Lomond.

He was last seen on Cumberland Street in the Gorbals area on August 20, but police say he may have also been in the same area around 9.30am on September 5.

Mr Wright’s death is currently being treated as unexplained.

The major investigations team has taken control of enquiries, and it is understood that a torched van in Glasgow and the searches in Castlemilk are connected to the probe.
