Emergency services are currently at the scene of a large fire on Glasgow’s Great Western Road after a woodchip trailer went up in flames.
Crews from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called after the fire started on Friday afternoon across from St Ninian’s Primary School in the Knightswood area.
Multiple fire engines were called to tackle the blaze which started just before 3pm.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 2.55pm on Friday, May 12 to reports of a vehicle on fire on Great Western Road, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene where firefighters extinguished a trailer on fire containing woodchip.
“There are no casualties and crews remain on the scene, working to make the area safe.”
