A cyclist has been taken to hospital following a rush-hour crash on a busy road in the city centre of Glasgow.
North Hanover Street was closed between Cowcaddens Road and Dobbie Loan onto Kyle Street following the collision at around 5.45pm on Friday but later reopened.
Drivers had been urged to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 5.20pm on Friday, 6 September 2024, police were called to a road crash involving a car and a cyclist on North Hanover Street, Glasgow.
“The cyclist has been taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
“Enquiries into the cause of the crash are continuing.
“The road is now open.”
