Google MapsA Glasgow city centre lane has been blocked off by police following reports of a serious sexual assault.
Officers were called to Sauchiehall Lane, near Blytheswood Street, at around 4am on Saturday.
An investigation is now under way into the serious sexual assault of a woman.
Enquiries into the incident are currently in the early stages.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4am on Saturday, December 17, police received a report of a serious sexual assault on a woman in Sauchiehall Lane, near Blytheswood Street.
“Enquiries are at an early stage into this incident.”
