Flights at Glasgow Airport have been disrupted after a small aircraft suffered an incident on a runway.
According to the air traffic tracking site FlightRadar, planes due to land at Glasgow shortly after 3pm were diverted to Edinburgh.
Two fire appliances were mobilised to the scene to assist emergency services partners attending to a small aircraft.
Glasgow Airport said the runway was closed as inspections were carried out.
The airport have been contacted for comment.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.48pm on Tuesday, 26 May, to reports of an incident at Glasgow Airport.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to assist emergency services partners at the scene, and firefighters worked to make the area safe.”
