Google MapsA gang of men in balaclavas attacked a man after attempting to rob a property in North Lanarkshire.
Shortly after 10pm on Monday, four men wearing dark clothing and balaclavas entered a property on Dykehead Crescent in Airdrie and assaulted a man inside.
No one was injured as a result, but police are now appealing for information as part of their investigation.
Detective sergeant Craig Jeffrey said: “Fortunately no one was injured, and our enquiries are ongoing.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything, or who has private or dash-cam footage of the area at the time, to contact us.”
