Men who appeared in court in connection with an ongoing gang war have been accused of organising and facilitating firebombings and violent attacks.
Andrew Quinn, 31, and James Quinn, 26, are claimed to have facilitated “unknown” suspects to carry out crimes.
Court papers state the pair allowed the suspects to carry out “wilful fire raising” as well as “acts of serious violence and endangerment of life”.
The charge goes on to say the two men acquired stolen vehicles and false registration plates to further the crimes.
Allegations against the two men span between April 10 and May 5 this year at their home in Glasgow’s Barlanark.
Co-accused Andrew Robertson, 52, is separately accused of being involved in serious organised crime.
Allegations say Robertson agreed with Andrew Quinn to do something he knew or ought to have known or suspected would enable or further commission of serious organised crime.
It is alleged that Robertson, of Wishaw, created and supplied false number plates.
The charge is stated to have taken place on April 16 at an address in Blantyre.
Andrew Quinn faces a further charge of attempting to conspire with others unknown to commit acts of serious violence and endangerment to life against people unknown in return for money.
This is also stated to have happened at his home on April 24.
A final allegation says James Quinn and co-accused Craig Swankie, 36, conspired with each other to commit acts of serious violence and endangerment to life against people or persons unknown in return for money.
The charge says this took place on April 27 in Glasgow’s Maryhill.
Ian Sievwright, defending Andrew Quinn, made no plea at a private hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
James Quinn, Robertson, and Swankie also made no plea through their legal teams.
Swankie, James Quinn, and Andrew Quinn were remanded in custody and will appear in court within the next seven days.
Robertson and Swankie were granted bail with their next court date to be determined.
